Frogwatch Platform update

 18 February 2019

Hi All,

You may start to notice new lists of all your Surveys on the location/site pages now.

We've also added the ability to delete Surveys.

Much more to come, we're just warming up...

Cheers

Aaron.

What do you guys want to see on the FrogWatch home page? Latest Surveys??? Anything else? Other ideas?

Some pretty pictures of frogs would improve the home page.

I agree, where should we pull them from, as surveys don't require images. All we have is the sample images.. That's easy enough, but the caveat is that they won't change/rotate very often as they're kind of static. Any thoughts??

We have about 30 species in the Species list with sample images.
Would you be able to display several of the leading number 1 photos on the front page, and rotate them every week perhaps?

OK. I think the simplest idea is on every page load, we'll just pull a random sample of the #1 sample images and display them in the feature thing up at the top of the page. This can be a default "filler" theme for any sites that don't have any featured sightings to display, but may have sample images defined. And if you click on any of the images, it will just take you to the info page about that species. Sound good???
