I have re-checked this species identification by botanically keying out this photographed plant using the Flora of NSW online PlantNet,
as referenced below:
As well, I cross–checked this photographed plant's species identification in the Rainforest Plants of Au : Rockhampton to Victoria app, as referenced below:

Thus with this identification re-check from the information sources,
i have confirmed your identification .

As i was already working here in NatureMapr, regarding these unconfirmed sightings of _Cryptocarya_ species in this NSW North Coast;
already in this topic, this information, these botanical information sources and in my thinking focusses .

In this NatureMapr sighting,
thank you for your quality photographs of the relevant identifying foliage parts of these plants .

As you presumably know, wIth these trees' species in this Lauraceae botanical family,
If you have any flowers or fruits (–any fertile material) photographs' (sightings),
this will make it easier for many more people here in NatureMapr to learn the identification of these Lauraceae trees' spp. .

Please feel free to ask when in need of more assistance, both by comments with tagging me and if you like by private messages .

The wings are very faded, but it looks like it could be one of the Grass Blues or Lined Blues (I’ll leave it to those in the know to sort out for you). This one definitely isn’t Pieris rapae but I’m also not sure what to suggest it as for you😊 @SuziBond or @MichaelMulvaney might be able to help🤞

Pieris rapae

@SuziBond would you mind having a look at this one please. It’s possible it is a Pieris rapae (Cabbage White), but the full yellow hindwing, the predominantly white forewing with yellow tip, the lateral black edge along the forewing & the black spots placement just under the yellow tip also look like this could be a Common Albatross/Yellow Albatross (Appias paulina), male. Hoping you can help😊

Pieris rapae
