abread111 I can't confirm either; otherwise I would have. Perhaps we should restrict our CNM uploads for Ainslie / the "Common" area to the most important such as patches of untreated ST or CNG or stands of Asparagus so we find the latter again when they are ready for harvesting or killing ...

Acacia decurrens

I would expect this to be Uromycladium murphyi, thus far it is the only known gall rust on Acacia decurrens based on the following paper Doungsa-ard, C.; McTaggart, A.R.; Geering, A.D.W.; Shivas, R.G. (2018) Diversity of gall-forming rusts (Uromycladium, Pucciniales) on Acacia in Australia, Persoonia Volume 40, June 2018, pp. 221-238. No species of Endoraecium are presently known from Acacia decurrens relevant reference is A.R. McTaggart, C. Doungsa-ard, A.D.W. Geering, M.C. Aime, R.G. Shivas (2015) A co-evolutionary relationship exists between Endoraecium (Pucciniales) and its Acacia hosts in Australia. Persoonia 35: 50–62.

I'd lean towards Philobota sp or at least P. Group. Something vaguely like
Philobota philostaura

Philobota (genus)

If it has flaky bark at base, it’s E. Rubida, not mannifera. Rubida is a dominant species in the Cooma area

Eucalyptus mannifera

Wrong area for me to confirm it, but it is A. decurrens. There is a big range in some characteristics so the stem flanges are not as marked in this one as in the other one you photographed not far away.
See https://worldwidewattle.com/speciesgallery/decurrens.php and the image gallery. Note particularly that the hand drawing showing the leaflets +/- widely spaced.
