Argonemertes hillii

Hill's nemertean

Specimens 23-45 mm long, 1.5-5 mm wide. Purple brown dorsally, with two bright red lateral bands extending over the anterior two-thirds of the body. Posterior end dark, to almost black, and tapered almost to a point. Ventral surface a light mottled brown. Proboscis a light pinkish colour. Eyes in two paired groups, total number about 40. Sexes separate.
